Gertrude Kasebier

(American 1852-1934) Kasebier was the first woman elected to the Linked Ring. She was a founding member of the Photo-Secession, but was often at odds with Stieglitz and resigned from the group in 1912. She cofounded the Pictorial Photographers of America, along with Alvin Langdon Coburn and Clarence H. White, in 1915.
